(quick thoughts while on the move)
Sometimes all one needs to do is stop the conversation in yourself - halt the continuing battles of verbal exchanges with “virtual” antagonists that circle in your mind for hours. Words will come, so go slow. Take one word, just a single word. Don't rush - wisdom was never in a hurry. Then fit the word into a sentence, perhaps write it down. Like a fine wine lying at rest in a cool cellar, give it time to mature. Then find another word, and continue. Taste it, test it.

Why?
Probably the best therapy is to express yourself. Why do you think psychiatrists make you lie on the couch and talk, while all they do is murmur "hmmm", "uhuh", or "go on"? Archives
